I co-hosted The Show Up North on Rebel Sports Radio, which aired every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from June 2014 to July 2015. I previously co-hosted the pregame and postgame football shows for the 2012 and 2013 football seasons.

I was responsible for the production of more than 40 online radio shows/podcast per week for shows across the VSporto Network, including shows that air on Aggie Sports Radio, Buckeye Sports Radio, Dawg Sports Radio, Gamecock Sports Radio, Gator Sports Radio, Irish Sports Radio, Longhorn Sports Radio, Rebel Sports Radio, War Eagle Sports Radio and Wolverine Sports Radio.

I did play-by-play for local high school football games, filmed local high school volleyball games and edited all of the footage for airing on the RAM Sports Network, an online Christian sports network.

I helped put together a 30-minute post production sports show on Ole Miss athletics every two weeks for a class in the Meek School of Journalism and New Media at the University of Mississippi. I served as the producer for two shows, including a 30-minute documentary titled "Five Outs From Omaha." I also put together news packages for shows in addition to gathering B-roll that was used throughout each show.

I worked with the EVS replay operators for the ESPNU live broadcast of the Ole Miss vs. Oregon basketball game on Dec. 8, 2013. In the spring semester, I worked with other students gathering video packages, which give a unique look at players, coaches and topics surrounding Ole Miss athletics.

I assisted in daily tasks for the Ole Miss athletics production team, including shooting video of sporting events/practices, shooting time lapses and finding music to use in productions. I gathered a better understanding of what the art of storytelling in sports is.

I was responsible for putting together sports news packages for the campus television station's newscast at the University of Mississippi. I came up with story ideas, shot interviews, gathered B-roll and edited each story.

I served as the sports editor for the campus newspaper at the University of Mississippi from Aug. 2012 - March 2014. The newspaper runs Monday - Friday and has a circulation of 14,000. As sports editor, I was responsible for managing a staff of 12 people, scheduling every story that ran in the paper daily and providing content that ran on the publication's website daily. During my time as sports editor, the online presence of the sports section rose more than it ever has. I also ran the sports section Twitter account, which more than doubled its size in my two years as sports editor. As a sports writer, I covered the football team in 2011 and the baseball team in 2012.

I covered a National Signing Day press conference for the Ole Miss Spirit (OMSpirit.com), a Scout.com affiliate, to help with recruiting coverage in 2012 and 2013.

I wrote stories and blog posts for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks and Auto Racing blogs on ESPNDallas.com. My main focus was to help cover all home games for the Texas Rangers. I was responsible for writing two to four blog posts each day. I also covered the IZOD IndyCar Firestone 550.

I wrote sports stories for 14 local newspapers. I tracked down and interviewed subjects for stories, including Dallas Cowboys' play-by-play announcer Brad Sham. During my internship, I learned the ins and outs of editing for a newspaper.
