Comprehensive work completed preparing company for an IPO on the London Stock Exchange (premium listing) in the summer of 2018 including completion of FPPP, Long Form Report, Working Capital Report and extensive drafting of the Prospectus. Departed along with other executives following sale of business to another leading litigation finance firm in the autumn of 2019.

Built an effective ‘second line’ Risk function of 25 individuals from the ground up to strengthen the risk management oversight of Jackson’s financials services activities and to respond to concerns raised by the regulator (PRA) of Jackson’s parent company (Prudential plc).

Provided direct support to Group CEO covering all of his responsibilities within Prudential plc and his external roles including being Chairman of the Association of British Insurers and a member of the Business Advisory Group to 10 Downing Street. Appointed by Group CEO and Group CFO (direct report into Group CFO) following Prudential’s failed attempt to complete a £14bn rights issue to finance $35bn acquisition of AIA. Group CEO was under extreme pressure from Prudential’s largest institutional shareholders following the failed acquisition attempt. Successfully implemented ‘Growth and Cash’ investor strategy which turned around adverse shareholder relationships and drove significant share price gains in the ensuing period.
