This position is responsible for embracing and supporting the vision and mission of the cooperative and the department. Provides reliable and high-performance United Power Geographic Information System (GIS) and other geospatial services and integration with other enterprise systems. Contributes to an excellent user experience for the end users of geospatial applications. A key focus is ensuring the accuracy, integrity and value of the GIS data to support and advance the core business of electric power delivery. The GIS environment includes server or cloud-based GIS products, desktop GIS and staking applications, mobile GIS applications, web GIS applications, geodatabases, GIS related components of the Outage Management System (OMS), and GPS hardware and applications.o Diagnoses and resolves common to routine to complex technical problemsindependently using defined standards and procedures. Increases the frequency ofsolving moderately complex problems independently. Participates in root causeanalysis and may occasionally lead root cause analysis.o Works independently and collaboratively, as a member of the GIS team and projectteams. Day to day work is self-initiated, and self-directed, based on both broad andspecific direction, Service Desk cases, project task assignments, department’s prioritiesestablished by the GIS Manager, IT Project Managers, or CIO.o Analysis, design, planning, configuration, implementation, integration,administration,support activities.o Requirements analysis, scope definition, and evaluation of technologies and solutions.o Basic to advanced data analysis, queries/reporting, data validation for single ormultiple data sources which may or may not include GIS data. Basic to advanced use ofSQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, Python.

Developing, programing and communicating a feasible and traceable production schedule to the Production Department, based on the information and requirements provided by the Sales Analysis Specialist and the Finance Department.Develops Strategic planning based on master production planning. Represents the Supply Chain and Production areas in the OBeer Council, tracks, documents and provides feedback to Orchestrated in order to enhance the reliability and adaptability of the tool to Avery processes.Environmental/Sustainability coordinationEnvironmental data analytics and report creation.
