I currently work for Ford Motor Company assisting dealerships across North and South Carolina with many different aspects of their businesses.A defining moment in my life was when I realized a career should be something you like doing, and not just ‘work’. For that reason, I left a lucrative career in medicine behind, even after committing most of my education and 2 years of medical school to becoming a physician, to instead pursue a career in business so that I could do something I am truly passionate about. While I am still fundamentally motivated by helping people, I found that through business I was better able to utilize my skills in strategic development, process improvement, marketing innovative ideas, leadership, research, and data analytics to help people in ways I enjoyed much more.Throughout my life my biggest strength has been my adaptability, or in other words, my ability to learn new things quickly while becoming extremely effective in those new skills. Prior to transitioning over to the full-time MBA program at Michigan State University, I had no formal business experience: I graduated at the top of my class and was consistently among the highest performers in all group or individual projects. At Bosch, I was given a simple prompt of, “create something that monitors and predicts the mobility landscape,” and from that created an extremely complex, while still easy-to-use, platform that pulled from numerous data sources to compile, quantify, and evaluate trends in the mobility market to develop forecasts and company strategy.These experiences and the experiences I continue to accumulate exemplify my ability to perform roles I might not have prior experience in, but excel in none-the-less. Therefore, I am open to roles that I know I would excel in and enjoy whether or not they coincide with my prior formal work experience.In terms of work environment, I work equally well remotely, in-office, or a hybrid of the two as long as there is a fairly regular work cadence that allows for me to build a more consistent routine outside of work.
