Purcell changes the way groceries are sold; offering higher profits, lower prices, and reducing food-related waste.After ​leaving ​high ​school ​in ​my ​sophomore ​year ​to pursue ​a ​SCUBA career in ​Australia I ​travelled ​to ​over ​40 ​countries ​doing ​volunteer ​work. I am a proud veteran having served in ​the ​Coast ​Guard. Prior to Purcell, I ​co-founded ​Conway ​Capital providing ​tax ​strategies ​to ​high ​net ​worth ​individuals ​through ​customized ​insurance policies. I ​left ​Conway ​Capital ​to ​found ​Purcell ​in ​2015.I started Purcell​ after ​realizing ​the ​answer ​to ​reducing ​the ​amount ​of ​trash ​produced by ​the ​average ​US ​household ​relies ​heavily ​on ​the ​elimination ​of ​food ​packaging. ​Food ​packaging comprises ​75% ​of ​American ​household ​waste, ​approximately ​73 ​million ​tons ​per ​year. ​Hinging ​on ​the idea ​that ​reducing ​waste ​long-term ​is ​an ​economically ​sustainable ​model, Purcell not ​only ​promises to ​reduce ​waste but ​also ​boost ​profits ​to ​stores ​and ​increase ​customer ​savings.I am passionate about travelling and helping the poor.
