My first efforts were articles three of which were published in national journals/magazines. I had a go at playwriting and had three productions; one professional and two amateur. I'm recently completed a rewrite of an earlier play which premièred 15th July 2013. Called Dance to Your Daddy it now features a musical score written by a friend. We are now working on a new musical The Rock, which will take to the stage September 2015 I completed an MA in Creative Writing which led to my first full length novel, Aftermath, presently sitting with an agent. Not quite sure what's happening but hoping he's finding a publisher. I have a number of other projects lined up which I'll talk about if anyone's interested.Elsewhere I spent many years acting, directing and singing. I'm an opera lover and for about ten years worked with Northern Opera. My favourite parts were Kecal in the Bartered Bride and Peter in Hansel and Gretel.
