David is the owner and principal physiotherapist at Kinetics Physiotherapy. Kinetics has one clinic based on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast, and a second clinic at AUT Millennium on Auckland’s North Shore. David is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist having worked with elite level athletes in many sports from around the world. David works as a consultant to Orthopaedic surgeons and has a passion for youth injury prevention. David is Chair of the Physio Advisory Board alongside industry representatives from AUT University, District Health Boards and more. David works closely with AUT University as a clinical educator of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Highlights have included: - Athletics NZ touring physio, junior teams & visiting international athletes (2016-present)- Pathway to Podium consultant physio for triathlon, swimming, athletics (2015-2017)- NZ Breakers basketball consultant physio (2014-2017)- Athlete Development Academy, lead physiotherapist (2013-2017)- Canada Elite triathlon team consultant physio (2014-2015)- USA Elite triathlon team consultant physio (2013) Outside of work David and his wife Sonya have three very active sons and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, living rurally with a myriad of pets, gardens, fruit trees, beehives and more!
