Provide network, server, application and help desk support for the district. * Technical lead of $1M Cisco intrastructure upgrade of 22 buildings, 200 routers/switches, 300 Wireless access points and 4000 network devices. * Consolidated servers using VMWare. Manage diverse server environment including Windows, Netware and Mac operating systems. * Provide top notch support of the Point of Sale, Transportation, Event Management, eCommerce and Library systems.* Improved integrity and friendliness of a web based job ticket application by completing the development process and reprogramming parts of it using HTML, Java, VBscript, SQL and ASP.* Developed a time savings VB.NET application that automated the student update process for several server based SQL applications. * Created elegant Student Emergency form that retrieves real time information from the AS/400 based Student Information System. * Maintain Windows Active Directory, Terminal Server and SQL application servers. * Analyze needs and make technical recommendations. * Provide technical support to over 1500 staff members. * Administer firewall, content and SPAM filters.

1999-2001 Client/Server Computer Programmer* Completed Y2K upgrade for Point of Sale system. * Added the ability for customers to charge their purchases.* Converted application from OS/2 to Windows/NT (including setting up the servers).* Converted application from DB/2 to Microsoft SQL (including installing SQL).* Maintained SQL server replication and backup processes. Utilized bcp, dts and stored procedures.* Fixed longstanding problem that had plagued the system for years. * Programming tools included Microfocus COBOL, SQL, Microsoft Access/VBA and Excel. 1990-1999 Lead Local Area Network SpecialistProject leader of LAN and file server installations for internal and external customers. * Project leader of large customer network and server upgrade. The project included a main office and 12 grocery stores. I coordinated the efforts of several people which resulted in a very successful technology upgrade for the customer. * Technical expert for Microsoft Windows/NT, Novell Netware and IBM LAN server. * Provided 3rd level technical support for internal and external customers (24 / 7 / 365). * Supported 175 file servers and 1500 workstations. * Created a 300 page standards manual for network and server implementation.

* Maintained VM/VSE OS, CICS, NCP and VTAM for IBM 9370. * Upgraded the mainframe from an IBM 360/370 to an IBM 9370* Upgraded the mainframe to the VM operating system* Maintained the CICS tables like the PCT, PPT and TCT. * Developed and supported COBOL, CICS and DL/1 (database) applications. * Created and maintained important sales report programs for the purchasing department.
