David is a Project Manager with over 15 years’ experience managing industrial & research & development projects in a variety of industries that include mining and automated process facilities & infrastructure. David recently won the state Worksafe award for his Design management role in the Merlo Remote Explosive technology and was a finalist at national level for this project.David is an accredited hydraulic & wet fire system designer and has worked extensively in essential service infrastructure. David has worked in industry nationally, including Tasmania and Western Australia and internationally in the Middle East (Bahrain) and New Zealand. David has provided project and contract management services to many industries, including:• Mining & mobile Plant automation• Infrastructure Watermain design and installation• Fire system design and construction• Metal / alloy manufacturing / fabrication / construction• Food / Beverage manufacturing processing• Timber and Timber Processing• Sewage and Water treatment plantsDavid has managed research and development multiple projects over the past 8 years as part of his role in the mining sector. During the past 12 years David has gained considerable knowledge of Hazardous Area installations.David’s theoretical knowledge and problem solving skills have given him the ability to solve problems that arise on work sites whilst at the same time maintaining a safe operating environment.David’s hands-on experience in Contract Administration, civil construction, operation, and maintenance has enabled him to develop an in-depth understanding of hydraulic infrastructure services. David has extensive experience in survey and construction projects including, large bore irrigation piping & process plant upgrades.
