David Corke has been the Executive Director of London Training Centre, an award winning social enterprise, since 2002. He is a passionate advocate for local food from both a community and economic development perspective. David’s work in the non-profit sector was preceded and much influenced by a successful 20 year career in the private sector where he owned and operated restaurants as well as working for a large foodservice corporation in the highly competitive Toronto market. As a social entrepreneur, David advocates a business enterprise model where finance has primacy and believes strongly that operating businesses and self-funded programs requires a culture within an organization that relentlessly seeks business excellence.
