A highly motivated and successful public servant with a passion for emergency management and a track record of delivering results. I served for 31 years in the United States Army in positions of increased responsibility including aviation maintenance management, fiscal management, human capital management, training, logistics, and fire and life safety. Over the last 5 years I have honed my skills in fire prevention and fire investigations and protect my community from fire related threats while seeking to push the boundaries of innovation in the fire protection industry. My educational and professional qualifications focus on Emergency Management and I am continually training to become proficient in all facets of Emergency Management. I work well in high pressure situations, and embrace challenges where solutions and problem solving are necessary. I am certified as a Type 2 and 3 EOC Logistics Coordinator, and am a member of the San Luis Obispo County Incident Management Team. I am also a qualified Outreach Instructor for the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI).As the Logistics Coordinator for the City of Paso Robles in the Emergency Operations Center, I seek to actively reduce risks during emergencies and allow response personnel to function at full capacity in volatile high-pressure situations by delivering the supplies and equipment necessary for them to effectively respond to, and assist the community in recovering from natural and man-made disasters.
