After graduating from university with a degree in Biomedical Sciences I worked for a year as a science teacher at a comprehensive school in Christchurch, Dorset. Eager to see more of the world I qualified as a teacher of English as a foreign language, then spent nine months at a language school in Sydney, followed by nine years teaching English in Japan.While living in Japan, my wife and I became very interested in the health benefits of the Japanese diet, and the fact that the Japanese have the lowest levels of cancer, heart disease and obesity of any nation in the world. Upon our return to the UK we started a healthy meal delivery company, Nutrichef, to provide meals that were based on the principles of the Japanese diet, but which appealed to Western tastes.After building Nutrichef into a national, award-winning company, we restructured the business in 2013. This has enabled me to help grow another business, Moore International, as a member of the senior management team.
