Led program comprising three Agile Scrum teams tasked with delivering PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) projects to update obsolete infrastructure for a variety of in-house applications. Components in scope included physical servers and storage, VM’s, SAN’s and NAS’s and a variety of middleware and OS software (Windows Server, Linux Redhat, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.) Determined high-level training for my Program Scrum teams in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) technologies in preparation for deployment later in 2019 (including InSpec, Git, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins and Navigator).

February 2002 – October 2009 IT Infrastructure Project Manager Reporting to the IT & Operations Director. Led team of five, responsible for specifying and implementing all aspects of IT/Back-Office infrastructure to support the centralisation of European IT services at European regional HQ in Antwerp, Belgium and a pan-European deployment of SAP R/3. Annual IT Infrastructure budget circa €4m per annum. Also responsible for managing the regional IT Operations team at 12 sites across Europe. • Implemented two pan-European WAN migrations across 18 European sites, total value € 3.75m with no disruption to the business• Implemented IPSec/ADSL remote access services for all mobile and home based staff across Europe. Total budget €350K, duration 6 months• Standardised IT Infrastructure policies & standards for all European sites• Implemented a centralised Lotus NotesMail environment. Project duration 8 months budget circa €200K• Developed the framework for a pan-European IT Security organisation and created associated policies and procedures• Project Manager of a pan-European migration to full Active Directory Services including the data-centre and disaster recovery sites in Belgium.
