Currently responsible for the Digital Sales function within the UK for the BMW & MINI Brands which provides the Omnichannel sales platform to facilitate the car buying journey online. Taking ownership for the channel's short and long term strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of all the products that provide a seamless digital customer journey to enable our customers to find their perfect BMW / MINI through the point of placing a reservation payment with their chosen retailer.The products I am responsible for include:New Car Stock Locators with Rich Media IntegrationDigital Check Out Solution inclusive of Payment Gateway Integration, supporting New / Used Stock, Built To Order & Pre-Order entry pointsFull integration of Financial Services Digital Product suiteTrade-InOnline Application for FinanceThis product suites creation is the result of a completely 'green field' development, from the point of the initial concept following senior stakeholder approval, to the delivery of the first MVP, and now our current mature platform which has enjoyed exponential growth.

Provided consultancy services to BMW Group UK, filling several varied roles and been responsible for many projects and programmes delivering products to support the Marketing, CRM and Sales Departments along with BMW Financial Services.

Provided technical / team leadership expertise on a number of client facing projects with large organisations such as Littlewoods, Coventry Building Society and UKAEA (UK Atomic Energy Authority). Took responsibility for managing an Operational Support team who were tasked with the day-to-day operations of several critical business systems along with the co-ordination of various enhancement releases.

Resourced to fill the role of IT Developer on a project to commission a new IT solution to support the UK’s Magistrates Courts. These responsibilities grew during this project engagement to ultimately take responsibility for a team of four software developers.

Following the successful completion of Masters qualification, joined the Oracle Corporation UK Ltd as part of their 1996 graduate intake. Following an intense “Bootcamp” phase, was resourced onto a number of client facing IT Projects over the next three years. Was one of only two from my graduate intake of 35 who were awarded their ‘Consultant 2’ grade within two years.
