Responsible for programming, booking, contracting, advancing and all on-ground management of events within FAC’s 400, 900 and 3400 capacity venues. In addition to managing key relationships within the live music and arts sector and attracting outside hire, this role also involved self-producing and budgeting ‘in house’ standalone concerts, music series, art openings and cultural events. Other responsibilities included site management and overseeing all bar operations including staffing and infrastructure. Major shows included Billie Eilish, Gang of Youths, Annual Noongar cultural celebration Wardarnji, annual three day makers market Bazaar, the much-loved Sunday Music series, Fire Aid, Spacey Jane, and The Waifs.

During this four-year period I managed the communications for WA live music venues Rosemount Hotel, Mojo’s Bar and Rodney’s Bait n Tackle. I also self-produced and promoted the annual concert series Hush: An Evening of Quiet Music (2012-2017) which included a sold out two-night run at the Parliament of Victoria as part of Melbourne Music Week. ‘Hush’ won the 2015 Perth Fringe World Award for Best Music Event. Other freelance producer work included programming City of Fremantle’s Hidden Treasures Winter Music Festival (2016, 2017) and RTRFM A Musical History, a supergroup-led concert and archival multimedia experience at Perth Concert Hall within RTRFM’s 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Role included managing other communications staff, maintaining relationships with key sponsors and stakeholders and working as part of a fast-moving organisation to hit multiple deadlines.
