AMT imports stamped and formed metal components from investor related facilities located off shore.AMT has a precision machine shop using the latest in CNC machine technology from Mazak. It's aim is to offer machining services for the local industry with many capabilities not found in other local shops. The AMT shop will add other capabilities as it continues to grow and evolve.AMT has the ability to reverse engineer or inspect via the Creaform 3D laser scanning to a closed solid wire frame form. We also have the ability to produce 3D parametric models using Autodesk Inventor Pro 2017 version. The files may be exported using several file types for use with other brand solid modeling software packages.AMT Engineering also has Additive Manufacturing 3D printing capabilities on our MarkForge Mark II printer using continuous strand Fiber Glass, Carbon or Kevlar filament encased in either Nylon or Onyx (chopped carbon fiber and nylon) materials giving the ability to print accurate and useful parts.AMT will start making Custom Roll Form Machines for export in 2017.

I held several positions during my 20 year tenure with ABB / CE and worked in several groups or departments. I started in Nuclear Component Design Engineering. I also worked for a short time in the Nuclear Component Manufacturing as part of the Methods & Tooling group.I worked for many years in the Nuclear Component Test Laboratory trying to determine what it took to make these components wear and determine the failure modes. Much of the work done in the lab was either DOE / DOD or EPRI funded.ABB bought CE early in 1990 and I transferred into the ABB / CE Nuclear Engineering Services group and became a Senior Field Service Engineer. I continued to do a lot of tooling design in support of the field service activities. I also became an Eddy Current testing and repair supervisor for many of the field tasks.
