Services are focussed around composite technology and associated supply chain, and specialising in the wind energy industry. Currently working in collaboration with the UK's National Composites Centre (NCC)/University of Bristol supporting the Joule program, as well as providing consultancy services to other companies. Following GE Renewables acquisition of LM Wind Power early in 2017, the Blade Dynamics operation was moved to form part of LM Wind Power in July 2017. I remain responsible for managing technology projects within the combined LM/Blade Dynamics technology team in the field of advanced wind turbine blades. Current work involves leading project teams drawn from Denmark, Netherlands, Turkey, India and China. My specialisation is running projects that involve the development, technical/commercial evaluation, testing and introduction of new composite materials and material formats into LM blade production facilities. This is done in a structured way that balances speed with technical risk reduction. In this way the implementation creates rapid benefits, whilst aiming to eliminate any disruption to production, or blade performance.

Company financing activities, including subsequent sale of the business to GE.

Responsible for developing key new wind energy accounts for Gurit in the Americas and managing the qualification, commercial negotiations and supply of Gurit products to them and their blade suppliers in the US, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and China.

Following the acquisition of ATC Chemicals assets in Quebec, Canada, I was responsible for the subsequent consolidation of the foam manufacturing facilities and the expansion of the Magog site to accommodate this. Also merged the previous NA SP Systems sales agency into the SP sales structure. Establishment of new, local management team and recruitment of approximately 180 new employees. Transitioned into new role heading up new product and market development for military applications

Multiple roles in technical and commercial management in the development, technical support and supply of advanced composite materials to wind energy sector (blades) and other composite applications, primarily marine and automotive. Multiple papers written and presented at various composites, wind energy and marine conferences. 3 years spent in Los Angeles running R&D laboratories of acquired company involved in manufacture of advanced phenolic and epoxy prepregs, primarily for aerospace applications. Later years spent in product marketing, business and strategic planning, including company funding activities and sale of business to Gurit in 2002. Responsible for acquisition of structural foam core manufacturing and research facilities in Quebec, Canada from former ATC Chemicals company.
