Working largely unsupervised, my current role is to provide on-site and in-house training on our desktop and cloud based Residential Sales and Lettings software. This involves frequent travel around the UK to clients’ sites, which range from small companies to larger key account multi-office organisations. I am responsible for tailoring the training to client needs whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times. With the recent introduction of our cloud based software, I have played a key role in defining the training structure and have written most of the training documentation.

Nationwide

In this role, my main duties were to install and configure the group’s residential desktop software packages both on site and remotely, set up database software and complete data migrations from legacy software to the latest product. With client liaison, I would then configure the software to their requirements and provide tailored training on site or in house to end users of all levels.

Wolverhampton, United Kingdom

During this role, my main duties were to provide a support desk function for our large client base and to also support the in house IT infrastructure. This involved logging support calls with detailed notes, liaising with the client by phone or remote access to fix issues with software configuration, networking, email, printing and SQL / Access databases. I was also selected to assist with a support department handover to a new location, providing training and technical assistance to the new team.

Wolverhampton / Nationwide

In this role, I was involved with all aspects of supporting, installing and training the ‘Encore’ database software to a client base of Estate Agencies around the UK and Ireland. This involved working on a support desk fixing various issues mainly over the phone and occasionally with remote access software or a site visit. I was also involved in installing and configuring the software on site for new customers and then providing training to end users.
