Participated as an instructor for the county emergency medical services and emergency management. Participated as an active member of the county government Emergency Management committee and SAFE Kids initiative. Piloted and developed in conjunction with Wilkes County Government the first pre-hospital thrombolytic program by an Emergency Medical Services agency in NC. Established, in conjunction with Wilkes County Government, the first Medical Examiner program in Wilkes County NC replacing the elected Coroner position.
