Led a team of 15+ regional and global technical product application specialists (PAS) and spearheaded delivery of technical support to high-end customers and original equipment manufacturers. Managed the Singapore Lubricants R&D facility.• Actively contributed to over 100 major technical projects developed in Europe and US, through liaison with Asia Pacific countries for trial and roll-out (annual AP budget approximately $30MUSD).• Grew the PAS global network from 24 to 34 people in 2015 by providing strong leadership and cultural awareness and critical technical support to global multi-nationality teams then monitoring progress via challenging action plans and reviews. Team now highly regarded. • Initiated development of first Shell China Fuels and Lubricants Technology facility from concept through to build and commissioning (budget circa $10MUSD), the first downstream R&D facility in China. • Led research relationship between Showa Shell (Japan) R&D lab and global group by initiating and developing three regional Japanese OEM workshops utilising key customer presenters leading to recognition as a key resource in maintaining strong relationships. • Developed and delivered customer technology workshops in India, China and Australia, successfully leveraging PAS and global technology network to foster cross cultural relationships.
