Supported the following types of systems; Planning (i2 Technologies Factory Planner), Digital Fulfillment (management of binary license and entitlements), Inventory, Product Management (Oracle Agile Suite) and Cimplicity. Software Developer IV April 2005 - 2008Worked on a new manufacturing software tool kit built by GE Fanuc called Cimplicity HMI Tracker. The development tool allowed us to release customize software to Dells manufacturing facilities. This technology interfaces between Dell’s IT system and manufacturing components (ie: barcode, RFID) and performs such tasks as internal factory routing. Software developed in Cimplicity would then process message back to other Dell systems through web service or other interfaces including .Net.

Senior Applications Developer (Contract)Maintained existing 3-tier GUI applications written in Visual Basic. The various applications support VA loans process for Veterans who apply for home loans. These VA home loans funded by banks are backed by the federal government in case the veteran defaults. Part of a team environment to convert two 3-tier Visual Basic applications to a web application. Wrote backend interface (ETL) process that imports and exports information to update Legacy systems. Supported 3-tier applications written in Visual Basic as front end interface and uses Oracle on a UNIX platform as backend. BEA tuxedo services are used as a middleware to exchange information from the GUI interface to the database.

Project covered gathering requirements from customers, database design and reporting over the intranet. System developed automatically calculated part usage for a model BOM (Bill of Materials). This would help purchasers to estimate orders for parts for specialized semi-conductor chip building equipment’s. Tool written in Visual Basic 6, ASP, Crystal Reports 8, Oracle 8 and HTML to calculate, store, display and graph data.

Part of a team effort to develop and maintain tax minimization software for equipment leasing application using Visual Basic for front end and Oracle as the backend database. Enhanced and supported executive dashboard web page designed with ASP and SQL-server. This application gave corporate executives to get a bird’s eye view of the status of the company at any one time using metrics defined by the user.

Developed various applications for in-house customers in the headquarters of the world’s largest energy services provider. Developed and supported employee benefits database and application. Process including data extract and import, Active Server Pages, Crystal Reports web module, Visual Basic, and SQL Server 6 backend. Upgraded a Keyfile application (imagining system that had it’s own Visual Basic API) to a better interface and enhanced features. Converted the system’s database from Paradox to Access. System was for corporate legal administration that used WORM technology to load and stores its legal documents.
