My strengths are finding a way to do what others could not. I will try things that are different (if every one is doing it the same way, the best you can hope for is the same answer they got, if you are trying things they are not trying you will get the answer they wont). I will try 3 or more options in parallel till we are far enough down a path to safely pick the winning one. I will ask why and or why not, but will stop when the answer is given (even if I don’t agree with the answer). If allowed I will lead, if asked I will fallow, but I will never just stand there. I go to work for Money (don’t we all), I show up where I work for the chance to make today better than yesterday, to solve new problems. I am not good at maintaining, reports, sitting still, or any thing not pushing me to and past my self defined limits. I am not a good mechanical engineer, I am not a good writer, I am not good follower. I am the best problem solving, idea generating, creative (also meaning I can’t spell the same word twice in a row). My brain runs faster than my body can keep up with. I solve problems in days that took teams months to fail at, this is not bragging, because it will take me days to do the reports that takes any one else hours to do, and my report will not look as good. I am the guy you should have solving the problem and teaching others how to get there faster, not the guy to document it all. I am a concept guy not a tech writer (there are more of them and they are much cheaper).
