Over the last 20 years, I have been working in the rapidly-evolving market of optical networking. I have developed a strong and broad expertise in digital communication and optical fiber networks. My research oriented skills have enabled me to drive innovation in metro, regional, and long-haul DWDM network design, which now includes advanced optical modulation formats at very high speed rates (>100 Gbps), highly accurate and fast modelling of optical fiber channel ( especially nonlinear interference noise), DSP algorithm development, flex-grid ROADM-enabled network and smart and effective optical performance monitoring techniques.I combine a high level of theoretical and numerical skills with high experimental capabilities. In particular, I have an excellent expertise in the area of fiber linear and nonlinear transmission, amplifier technologies (EDFA, Raman) and optical switching architectures (ROADM). I've gathered considerable knowledge and experience in developing analyzing tools and experiments for new technology evaluations and quantifications of system effects, in particular by developing an end to end simulation platform for nonlinear DWDM transmission analysis and network planning. Many of the results have led to several patents and proven record of peer-reviewed publications and conference papers (60+). I am also a recurrent reviewer for several highly ranked journals. In addition I have also developed an academic career over the last decade and since 2014, I have been a senior lecturer at Holon Institute of Technology.Google scholar link : https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=7LydgYQAAAAJ&hl=en
