David Daugherty is recently retired from the position of Vice President of Talent and Information Managment and CIO at Plastipak Packaging Inc. He led an organization of 125 professionals and is responsible for global Human Resource and IT strategy and operations globally. In addition, he led the Corporate Learning group and Corporate Communications department, a team of professionals developing learning and media content to support and engage Plastipak employees and our customers. He reported to the Chairman and CEO and is a member of the Executive Committee. David joined Plastipak in January 2000 from the Allied Domecq Company where he held the senior positions of Global Director of Development and Global Director of I.T. Strategy and Architecture. During his 11 year tenure, he was instrumental in the tansformation of Allied Domecq's I.T. business processes, enabled by a global implementation of JBA, BPCS and other ERP software. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield MI. He has also completed the Executive Program at the Talent Management Institute through the University of North Carolina .He remains on the Board of Directors of Plastipak Holdings.
