my role contains of dealing with complaints, booking public in to classes and parties, ensuring orders are done and stocktakes are of a good standard, preparing and serving food & beverages, providing for functions and special events, and managing the day-to-day operation of our busy catering facility. my roles when doing this role is to maintain the health & safety of the centre and customer and staff satisfaction, while doing this role I have to take control of all of the departments within the centre and ensure checks are being done including the plant room, studios, café, soft play, pool, gym, sales, and reception. I have to go to any emergency alarms such as lift alarms, code 1 (first aid) and evacuations, I have to make all the decisions on how the business is run that they and what to do in emergency situations.

my job role I worked as a full time catering assistant, within this current job I had to cook and prepare a wide range of food with the best quality products. I had to open the kitchen and close which has a lot of responsibilities such as making sure all the safety and hygiene checks have been done correctly within the kitchen and the coffee area. I also have to greet customers and make coffee’s selling products upselling and getting feedback from public and ensuring that correct customer service has been given out.I also work with the kitchen, I help prepare and cook the food on a daily basis, and we prepare food for big events, birthday parties and the general customers on a day to day basis. With this establishment I have also done marketing and advertisement such as, in reach and outreach. This is what my company do to gain more lease in reach is when I will go around the centre asking people to sign up to challenges or giving out discounts for next visit. Outreach is when I will go to school fetes high streets all different locations to give leaflets out get numbers, gaining information such as names, emails and numbers. I sometimes dress up as the buzz mascot to help with promotion and draw the customer’s eye to my business.
