Applications include Oracle 11i and 12i, OBIEE, Discoverer, Business Objects, and Hyperion Financial Data Management and Planning modules.• Designed, built, and implemented a horizontally scalable infrastructure, using Intel hardware and Linux, to support a single Oracle 12i general ledger environment for all of Corporate. The scope of this project includes consolidating over 600 ledgers in 75 countries with over 30 functional currencies and six different languages onto a single global instance. This is a four year project with over 80 ledgers successfully migrated to date. • Designed, tested, and implemented Disaster Recovery solutions across distinct datacenters for SOX level one applications using EMC SRDF, NetApps Snapmirror, and F5 BigIP technologies. • Drove initiative to reduce TCO for existing applications by migrating existing databases from the Sun Solaris platform to lower cost Intel based RedHat Linux servers resulting in 300K annual savings. • Member of the GE Oracle Technology and Support councils.
