I am currently with a startup company, CODELUCIDA Inc., as CTO and co-founder, whose main activity is to develop custom designed low-density parity-check (LDPC) error-correction solutions to support the latest flash memories and other emerging memories for the highest performance and endurance.I was previously full professor at the ENSEA, Cergy-Pontoise, FRANCE, a graduate school of Engineering, from 1999 to 2017.I graduated my PhD in Statistical Signal Processing 1998, from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France. I was the general secretary of the National GRETSI association, and am a Senior member of the IEEE. I held the Junior position at the Institut Universitaire de France, from 2009 to 2014. My research and development interests lie in digital communications and error-correction coding theory. I worked severalyears on LDPC codes, both from the code and decoder design aspects. I developed a strong expertise on non-binary LDPC codes and decoders in high order Galois fields GF(q). More recently, my focus is on the development of new algorithms for ultra-low complexity and very-high throughput hardware architectures of binary LDPC decoders, with quasi-error free performance without error floors. I published more than 50 papers in major journals, and more than 150 papers in major conferences in Information Theory, Error Correction Coding and Signal Processing.
