I am a certified Facility Security Officer (FSO) and ASIS Board Certificated CPP. I currently serve as the Security Operations Manager for JEA. JEA is the eighth-largest community-owned electric utility in the United States and one of the largest water and sewer utilities in the nation providing electric, water and sewer service to residents and businesses in northeast Florida. I'm a former Sheriff’s Officer with the Passaic County Sheriff's Office located in northeast New Jersey where I had the privilege to serve on several of the specialized Sheriff’s Emergency Response Teams (SERT) throughout my career including; Cell Extraction, Bomb Squad, Haz-Mat and Special Weapons. I have more than 30 years of experience in the Law Enforcement, risk management, compliance, physical & security Operations in the security industry with over 20 of those years in management and an extensive background in training. I have been involved in launching several technology based systems to improve the overall security operations at JEA.
