David Denton is a managing consultant with Arcadia Education. Prior to joining Arcadia, David was a leader for thirteen years within Great Hearts Academies, which he helped to build it into the largest provider of classical education in the country. He founded a Great Hearts school in 2012 and led it to become one of the top performing schools in the state of Arizona over the course of four years. He then served as an Executive Director and Superintendent for seven years. David began his career in education as a high school math teacher and volleyball and wrestling coach in 2001 with the Cambridge School of Dallas. David holds degrees in engineering and mathematics from the University of Virginia and the University of Texas at Dallas, respectively. He and his wife Edi married in 2006 and have six children.
