David is Co-CEO of Hyphen Communities and leads all acquisition, development, capital markets, pre-management, and asset management functions. David has developed and built more than 7,700 units and bought, renovated, and sold over 5,000 units. David and Les Litwin partnered in an acquisition rehab platform called Mode Apartments where they bought, renovated, and sold several smaller in-fill apartments in Phoenix Arizona.Previously as co-founder and Principal of Trillium Residential, where David headed up all acquisition, development, capital markets, pre-management, and asset management functions. Trillium won numerous accolades and awards and developed 3,219 units. He was also the co-founder of Magellan Real Estate Investments, acquiring 4,457 units, developing 3,847 units, as well as approximately 1,000,000 square feet of commercial office and a 1,240-acre master-planned community in Indio Ca. David graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management and a minor in Economics. He resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with his wife, and they have four children. David enjoys photography, food, and hockey.
