ProMarkCo began as a packaging design firm but quickly evolved into a sales organization with a focus on companies needing representation and assistance in managing their business in Walmart, Sams, Target, Kmart, Kroger, and CostCo. In the year 2002 the company began the design and manufacturer of collectible diecast and radio control toys under the name 1BADD RIDE along with licensed brands like NASCAR, Truckin', Shelby, and Saleen. In 2004 Professional Collectibles was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of ProMarkCo with the acquisition of the substantially all of the assets of Adkins Collectibles. In 2005 Professional Collectibles became its own operating entity and shortly there after acquired the Brand name, tooling, and remaining assets of 1320. The phthalates recall of 2008 by the Consumer Product Safety Commission caused Professional Collectibles to cease manufacturing of all toys and collectibles beginning in 2009. In 2013, Professional Collectibles dissolved after full compliance with law to retest and destroy all inventory that did not meet the new guidelines on Phthalates levels in all toys. Today ProMarkCo has returned with new and innovative products for pets and children.
