I have studied Molecular Medicine in Regensburg up to my master's degree. Afterwards, I conducted a PhD thesis at Prof. Dr. Rehli's lab at the University Hospital of Regensburg. During that time I was able to fortify my skills in various molecular biology methods with a strong focus on NGS-based approaches. Concomitantly, I acquired the skills to analyze NGS data and build pipelines. I specialized in RNA-seq data analysis with R and am acquainted with working in a HPC environment.I am eagerly awaiting new challenges that comprise collaborating in large and interdisciplinary teams as well as broadening my bioinformatics horizon in pursuit of developing versatile and standardized workflows based on automated pre-processing, continuous integration and machine learning.
