I was working with The Graham High Group providing loss adjusting services to the group across the UK and Europe handling mainly domestic HNW losses.Due to the loss of two large contracts I have recently been made redundant.

I was working with Williams Pitt, on a short term contract, providing loss adjusting services mainly across East Anglia, Essex, Kent and the South of England.

I was employed by Zenith Contract Services based in Coventry on a short term contract as a Project Manager.I was responsible for the management of the companies refurbishment contracts including tenders, the negotiation of supply contracts, variations to the scope of works, site quality, health & safety and client liaison.

I handled commercial claims up to £100,000 and domestic claims from £15,000 to £100,000.I am trained in Xactware and Symbility and have attended training seminars with the BDMA, The Flood School and Dewpoint.I was using the digital pen with GAB Robins although my experience at Crawfords gave me an in depth insight into tablet technology.

I was employed by Crawford and Company as a "Field Team Manager".I was responsible for the management of ten staff employed as ‘External Claims Advisers ‘ ,‘ Building Advisers ‘ and Loss Adjusters who were situated in the North West and East Midlands.My duties involved ‘day to day’ management, providing MI to our SMT, undertaking yearly/six monthly Appraisals, Monthly Audits, Resource Planning, Accompanied Visits/121’s, Team Meetings, report checking and troubleshooting / complaints.I was also responsible for the ‘ roll-out ‘ of our in house Delta site note technology and in house Building scheduling tool ( DSP ) to the Field Adjusters and was heavily involved with it’s on-going development. I also carried out Presentations on behalf of Crawford & Company to existing and potential Clients.I was heavily involved in Client Meetings with the likes of Aviva, in relation to my work with them as ‘ Aviva Champion ‘ and the BDMA. During ‘Surge’ conditions I also looked after resource across the UK in conjunction with our Surge Director in order to maintain client sla’s.

As a Loss Adjuster I would visit the Policyholders premises and deal with insurance claims in a geographical area from Derbyshire down to Buckinghamshire and Staffordshire across to the Wash. I have dealt with a number of Commercial claims although my main responsibilities were to the Domestic portfolio.I was seconded to the Norwich Union Service Centre in Nottingham where I was made a Team Leader. My duties included the ‘day-to-day’ Management of a team of six adjusters, together with customer services issues, compiling Management Information and handling the extensive “ Work in Progress “.Following the announcement of redundancies within Capita Insurance Services I was elected as a Staff Representative at the Consultation Meetings representing both myself and that of my colleagues.

I was employed as the "Own Risk Claims Manager" heading up a small team handling all aspects of insurance including motor, commercial property, personal injury and public / employers liability.Another function of the department was to recover uninsured losses against negligent third parties following road traffic accidents.I was also involved in setting out risk management measures to try to eliminate / reduce the likihood / costs of accidents across all sections of the business.
