I am presently the Director of Community and Technical College programs at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board where I am primarily responsible for computation used to determine how much money the state of Texas will distributed to public community.I graduated from the UT Austin Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs with a Masters of Public Affairs and a Specialization in Technology, Innovation and Information Policy. In graduate school, I conducted original research on how police departments use drones and the deployment of development aid. I also broadened my education by learning Python and R for data analysis by taking a number of statistical classes beyond my degree's requirements.During the 86th Legislative Session of the Texas Legislature I worked at the House Research Organization, where I analyzed proposed laws to summarize context, effect, and debate for House Representatives and their staffs. My analyses are part of the permanent legislative record.
