Working with the contractor I ensure that the final product meets or exceeds our clients expectations. My current work involves design of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, inspection of Erosion and Sediment Control features, and overseeing construction of wetlands and forest mitigation. Prior to my current role I oversaw installation of a waterline project in Bicknell, Indiana, road construction in Evansville, Indiana, bridge project in Petersburg, Indiana, and Erosion and Sediment Control for Interstate 69 from Evansville to Martinsville, Indiana.

Began career as Communications Systems Radio Operator. In 1999 I cross-trained to Engineer Assistant (EA). As an EA I hit the gambit of tasks an EA could do. At Schriever I started in the SABER department overseeing small renovation projects. I helped manage construction (MILCON ) of the first office building outside the secure area. From there they put me in charge of the drafting department. We implemented a base GIS system, working with contractors to build the databases, meeting with commanders to discuss what their needs and training users how they could benefit from the system.From Schriever I was sent to the 554 REDHORSE Squadron at Osan AB Korea. While stationed there I was privileged to be the NCOIC of the Site Development department. Our team worked with engineers to design and build pre-engineered buildings and aircraft parking ramps around South Korea. Our next assignment was Tyndall AFB. It was there I learned contracts. As Chief of the Quality Assurance Element in the 325th Civil Engineering Squadron, I worked with a team that was older and much more experienced than I. I learned tons from them. While there our team managed and wrote $14M is recurring service and Operatinos and Maintenance contracts. This was a very rewarding job. Working closely with the BOM contractor we made Tyndall a great place to work.My next assignment was to Ramstein Germany with AMC. There we managed a $19M TWCF budget to take care of all AMC facilities in Europe, Southwest Asia, and Africa. Along with these facilities I was the on-site construction representative for the $138M Rhein-Main AB Transition program It was a very interesting job working with contractors from all different cultures. Our final assignment was to the 823rd REDHORSE at Hurlburt Field. Another very good assignment. There I was Superintendent of the Engineering Department. Our biggest accomplishment was our successful deployment to and safe return from Iraq.
