The ND3 Investigations and Response (I&R) Manager is responsible for ensuring that I&R units have appropriate capacity to provide a 24/7 investigative response capability across the division which encompasses two local government areas with a combined population in excess of 630K (Brimbank and Melton).In support of the Divisional Commander and Local Area Commanders, the I&R Manager is responsible for:Response and investigation of serious crime & also proactively targeting recidivism, referral of victims and offenders for support to break the cycle of offending that impacts community safety.The members working in the ND3 Investigation and Response zone are exposed to a wide and varied range of investigation response duties, as well as targeted operations, Major Drug Investigations and Controlled Operations and are supported by a Crime Scene Services unit.

Professional Standards Command - Inspector Intelligence Unit Specific intelligence services provided include:• collecting, collating and analysing strategic, tactical and operational information and intelligence relevant to criminal conduct, misconduct and corruption by Victoria Police employees• conducting detailed analysis to identify vulnerabilities that threaten the ethical health and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies• producing intelligence products including briefs, assessments, employee, and work unit early assessment profiles• tactical investigation support.Professional Standards Command Ethics and Professional Standards Officer (EPSO) InspectorProvision of direct support to Regions, Commands and Departments for the management of integrity files and professional ethical standards across the organisation.
