In Cairns I led a high performing team of nine, growing the business significantly across the area, by launching new products within construction and maintenance, and targeting new markets throughout the Torres Strait. I was able to achieve a zero harm culture across the team that resulted in 3 years LTI free, and actively training, coached and mentored team members to successfully progress through the business.During this time I implemented a new timber waste diversion to the Cairns recycling facility, grew revenue even during the GFC, and ensured the focus was on providing our clients with an unrivalled level of service and product quality.

As State Product Manager for Laminex, I led a focus on growing the brand within the market, increasing this from 40% to 53% market share by actively responding to customer demand, while also rationalizing the product portfolio. My achievements here included establishing a seamless supply chain within the timber veneer market, developing the market strategy and associated collateral, and creating a value proposition for the team with a focus on training, development and coaching.
