Lead the information assurance program in support of a portfolio of programs and associated information systems. Manage a team of 6 technical specialists. Provide manager to manager peer support and supervision for information system security initiatives. Provide guidance and support for security-relevant activities performed by various IT, development, and operational departments. Support information life cycle activities including; support for proposal activities, rapid establishment of accredited information systems, upgrade of information systems during program execution, addition of new capabilities under established information systems, preparation and maintenance of accreditations/certification of compliance, and program shut down and de-certification activities.

Responsible for providing compliance and vulnerability analysis as well as needed technical support and assistance to secure the software or hardware related development and ongoing operation of secure information systems.

In support of the Army High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) I provide remote or on site Vulnerability Assessments and cyber security testing utilizing a combination of manual and automated tools. I also provide thorough reports, technical briefings at all levels of leadership, and mitigation procedures to bring customer's systems into compliance. .

Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of an environment of physical, data and resource security. Work hand in hand with the facility security officer who primarily manages personnel security and policy. Manage the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) lifecycle of multiple classified information systems. Employ risk assessment tools and techniques to manage risk to sensitive information ensuring continuous secure operations. Serve as primary contact for third party auditors with responsibility to achieve high ratings during security audits and to mitigate or eliminate any risks identified. Coordinate with executive level stake holders to ensure support and understanding of security program.

Responsible for support and upkeep of all non-core services required to operate including management of the premises and integration of processes to maintain and develop contracted services which support and improve the effectiveness of the primary activities of the business. Ensure performance of facilities related contracted services through performance oversight of service level agreements (SLA). Improved physical security including specialized secure data transmission infrastructure and additional secure office space.

Conduct and present technical research for government customers. Analyze data and conduct analysis for government customers.

Responsible for the technical application of security policy on classified information systems. Conduct initial configuration of systems in a secure fashion, system administration, audit functions, and continuous monitoring duties. Provide technical input for development of security policy. Continuous high performance led to promotion to Information System Security Manager position.

Responsible for the production and technical editing of reports. Tapped as a subject matter expert in information systems operation leading to the creation of a new Master System Security Plan and promotion to Information System Security Officer.

Metz, France

Part of a team of engineers tasked with research and development of an air-coupled ultrasonic transducer. My primary responsibility was the characterization of the novel transducer material and its incorporation into the electro-mechanical system. Characterization of the transducer materials response to acoustic energy including piezoelectric effects was modeled in ANSYS Fluent and Matlab. Project resulted in the construction of a prototype device using the novel transducer material.
