Primary markets served include automotive OEMs, defense, telecommunications, construction equipment and filtration.Reported to the Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for leadership of the Human Resource function for the corporation including labor relations, benefit design & administration, and regulatory compliance. Also served as Chairman of Pension Committee and directed Corporate Human Resource department including three professionals and four administrative employees. Provided functional leadership, support and services to division human resource departments. Important accomplishments included:• Negotiated over 40 labor contracts with the UAW, Operating Engineers, Teamsters, USWA, Ironworkers, and Boilermakers unions.Represented company in labor arbitration and before government regulatory agencies.
