  Lead on landscape policy, developing and managing LANDMAP, the landscape qualities inventory and information system for Wales, which underpins much of the country's land management and development policy and decision making. LANDMAP differs from the landscape character method in providing five separate maps (on a GIS platform) of geological, habitat, visual and sensory, historical, and cultural landscapes. Its information is consistent and quality assured. Open web access to some 11,500 unique landscape areas. The nature of each is systematically described, its relative value graded, with many sensitivities to land use changes noted.
