I treat adults, children, and families. I work with a broad array of clients from children (ages 6 and older) who display characteristics of Attachment Disorders to those in their teens who are actively defiant, and those who may have become withdrawn due to angst, bullying, or any number of day to day worries/troubles. I have dedicated much time treating teenagers and adults who suffer with/from various levels of Anxiety and or Depression, PTSD, OCD, and most Mood Disorders. I enjoy working with couples and individuals who have a desire to work on their relationship skills. I have years of experience treating both Domestic Violence abusers and abuses. In addition, I have 15+ years in working with those suffering from substance abuse, with both substance abusers and family members affected by their loved one's use/abuse of substances. I have extensive experience in working with both groups and individuals.I consider my theoretical orientation to be fairly eclectic, and do not believe that one treatment modality fits all. I believe the client to be the expert on his/her own life, and that my expertise is in guiding each client (or couple) by utilizing appropriate skills based on client needs.
