+VG Architects (The Ventin Group) is a full-service architectural firm with a broad and proven multi-sector portfolio. The firm provides services for new construction, renovation, addition, retrofit and adaptive re-use, and conservation of heritage designated buildings. Central to our work is our commitment to transparency, daylighting, timelessness, durability, sustainability and accessibility. I’ve been with +VG’s Toronto office since 1998 and have been part of the firm’s transformation from a practice with specific specialties into one with broad capabilities and a regional presence. With OAA registration in 2006, and obtaining LEED AP qualifications in 2008, I have had the pleasure of leading significant projects including the Lennox and Addington Family and Children’s Services Administration Building and the Markham Museum Collections Building. In 2011 I joined +VG Partner, Terry White in managing one of the largest and most complex multi-year heritage projects in +VG’s history, the implementation of Phase IV of St. Michael’s Cathedral Master Plan. I became a member of Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals in 2015 and continue to pursue the continuing education opportunities through CAHP and National Trust, as well as pursuing work to support the heritage sector of our portfolio. I believe there are great opportunities ahead for +VG, and my focus is on making the most of them.
