I moved from Westralian to become part of the initial staffing of Metapro. This company was created to provide a support organization for the Syman and MFG/PRO applications in Perth. It was initially a joint venture between Westralian and another prospective user of Syman in Perth.Main tasks:• Conceive, design, lead implementation team and debugging of new module for MFG/PRO ERP package including both interactive and batch components.• Design, implement, and debug new screens and reports for Symix and MFG/PRO ERP packages.• Maintenance work on ERP packages, especially including diagnosis of faults in batch processes.• Scoping and specification of hardware and systems software for ERP implementation.• Unix script implementation and modification.• Progress DBA activities for a range of customers (in the role of application implementation and support).• On-site problem diagnosis.
