I am an environmental consents professional with a background in geology and recent experience in both regulation (Environment Agency) and construction (HS2 Project). I have a keen interest in Earth, physical and environmental sciences, as well as passions involving video games, music production and bouldering. My time spent in school, air cadets and university when growing up has shaped me into a curious individual with good common sense and a logical and methodical thought process.Following university, I began my career in the Environment Agency because of the environment conscious and data driven environment I would find myself in. Since then, I developed an interest in management and wanted to expand those skill sets, which led to my movement over to the private sector on the HS2 project. My time with the Agency means I have a good understanding of how regulators operate (especially with regards to water resources) and I am now familiar with operations of the civil engineering/construction industry and the environmental consent application process.
