I started my journey in construction 20 years ago by framing custom homes and small-scale renovations. I have been able to continue to grow my skills and experiences in the construction management field, which has led me to some great opportunities of being involved with community infrastructure builds such as hospitals, correctional facilities, local colleges, and unique one-of-a-kind homes and wineries. My current role is in a project management position, which can bring a whole new set of challenges and rewards from my days on the tools. My passions for this role are leadership, negotiations, and team building. I look forward to collaborating and sharing ideas on these topics. My educational background is a Red Seal Carpentry Certificate, Bachelor of Technology and Trades Leadership diploma, as well as a Gold Seal Certification for Superintendent from CCA. I am currently enrolled in the Thompson Rivers School of Business and Economics, working towards my MBA. Make sure you enjoy the journey not just the destination!
