Relocating to Sydney for family reasons I embraced the many advantages of remote working in a newly created position as the Principal Technical Advisor supporting Saab globally. The role, whilst highly successful, could no longer be accommodated by Saab Australia's new direction and I was retrenched.No longer constrained by a single company’s market position I can now offer my 40 years of Defence engineering experience in Maritime Combat Systems to companies and acquisition organisations as a consulting engineer. I suspect I am one of the few engineers having successfully held Combat System Design Authority roles for both surface ship and submarine combat systems. With broad career of engineering management experience across many major Defence companies I seek opportunities to assist companies enhance their operational and strategic engineering capability.
