David Evans serves as Regional Managing Partner for Forvis Mazars Consulting which is the Global Consulting practice of Forvis Mazars with over 2000 professionals serving clients across the US and internationally. Before serving in this role, David was the Regional Managing Partner for FORVIS/DHG's South Region which contains offices across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and California. David's own practice area is tax where he led the firm’s Public Company Tax Outsourcing Practice in Atlanta. David focused his tax practice on business consulting, transaction planning, structure and implementation, tax consulting for public and privately-held corporations and flow-through entities, and estate tax and succession planning. He possesses significant experience in the areas of financing and merger and acquisition transactions, specializing in entity structuring to maximize flexibility and minimize corporate and individual income tax liabilities.David completed postgraduate study in his field at New York University and is recognized as a guest lecturer with Lorman Professional Education Seminars. He is a recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Young Alumni award, presented by the University of Tennessee’s College of Business.
