Identifies problem areas and initiates corrective action using applicable regulations, technical orders, and maintenance data reports. Identifies and documents aircraft maintenance requirements. Ensures personnel are aware of and conform to maintenance safety directives. Reviews pertinent data on equipment maintenance data collection forms and verifies data in Core Automated Maintenance System. Accompanies aircraft through all phases of maintenance during home station checks and isochronal inspections. Travels with aircraft on cross-country and higher headquarters missions. Tasked to deploy worldwide in support of Secretary of Defense contingency operations.Supervised Aerospace Maintenance Technicians and oversees organizational maintenance and modification on eight AC-130H Spectre gunships and two C-130E aircraft in support of AFSOC missions worldwide. Reviews and staffs deployment tasking requirements, schedules personnel, prioritizes and selects individuals for formal training. Establishes work methods, production controls, and performance standards. Develops, implements, and evaluates on-the-job training. Tracks career development course progression for assigned airmen and NCOs ensuring individuals are ready for upgrade in a timely manner. Ensures sufficient personnel are qualified as production inspectors to maintain quality service to customers. Evaluates and provides improvements for aircraft modification proposals and monitors technical order changes. Tasked to deploy worldwide in support of Secretary of Defense contingency operations.Awarded the Air Force Commendation medal for meritorious service.Completion of enlistment with Honorable Discharge.
