As the Deputy Business Director, I have responsility for the day-to-day supervision of the finance function within the school. My current role and line management duties also include HR, risk and facilities responsibilities, creating a varied role which has significantly broadened my knowledge and experience.

As a Business Adviser at PKF I worked within the Assurance and Advisory department, providing audit services to a range of clients.This involved significant interaction with a range of individuals from all levels of organisations. A high attention to detail was required, in addition to the ability to work under pressure.

This position was a sales based role with major emphasis placed on providing first class customer service and meeting targets both individually and as a store. It required me to work very well under pressure and be creative to maximise my sales potential. I was constantly interacting with customers to advise them on the best products and services available and resolve issues they may have. Due to the sales nature of the role and the amount of personal information the customer must disclose, there was minimal room for error and my attention to detail was therefore vital.
