Responsible for all aspects of Instron’s Electro-Mechanical and Industrial product lines in Europe and Asia. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Business, based in the corporate headquarters in Boston, USA. A member of the Global Electro-Mechanical Senior Leadership Team responsible for developing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Global Long Range Strategic Plan (LRP) for product development and growth for the Electro-Mechanical Product range. Profit and loss responsibility for the Electro-Mechanical and Industrial Products in Europe and Asia. Setting and achievement of corporate growth expectations for product sales, variable and operating margins. Forecasting annual and quarterly product sales, revenue and profitability. Alignment of global product development programs setting the expectations and future requirements of the European and Asian markets to develop new, innovative, and industry-leading products. Marketing programs and activities within Europe and Asia for the above product lines. Management and co-ordination of sales support and market information to European and Asian sales organisations. Management of the product Market Pricing within Europe and Asia. The achievement of high customer satisfaction levels.

Management responsibility for Instron’s Export Sales Department, direct and indirect sales channels. Responsible for the co-ordination and management of Instron’s channel partners in Eastern Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. Setting and achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans. Create and implement lead generation programs via channel partners. Contractual responsibility for sales channels and customer contracts. Financial responsibility for all contractual conditions and payments. Departmental financial management. Production of accurate sales forecast information to Sales Director and Business Team Management. Annual performance appraisals of sales channel partners and direct sales reports. Compliance with Export Trade Regulations.
